The Canyon is so long, that a person is unable to see the entire Canyon, even if that person is standing on the rim or on the highest elevation point of the Canyon. The Grand Canyon spans a massive 277 miles in length.
If you would like to see the entire Grand Canyon in a single glimpse, you will have to drive your spaceship to space and gaze upon it from there. Astronauts are the only people fortunate enough to see the entire stretch of the Grand Canyon. Good thing they can take pictures for us Earth bound individuals!
